With his personal and unusual style, Yin Jun effectively represents the emotional worlds of the people in our materialistic performance society. Childish faces whose quiet, suppressed screaming bears witness to their dreams, frustrations and hopes that reveal their inner ness. When looking at these comic altogether and at the same time satirical caricatures, one must first smile, but a deeper dimension quickly becomes visible. Tears flow from the eyes of the figures and shoot through the air; the mouths are wide open and with their multi-layered spectrum of expression impressively convey the inner voice of the painter.
